Should I continue with java or learn c++
AbhayBhat (95)

I don't know what I should do. I honestly want to become a game developer but game developers mostly code in c++ so I want to learn that but I have heard that java is also good for games but I cannot find any popular java games other than Minecraft.

Please help. 🙏🙏🙏🙏
I accept all kinds and any kinds of answers.

Thank you to everyone who answers

Don't let other people influence your code decisions. Do what YOU want to do, be it Java or C++. Heck, code in BrainF if you want. However, if you want to learn c++, I am happy to teach you :)

@ipastrano I would really appreciate you teaching me, I am interested and I already have some background with OOP, I think I would be able to stay up to speed with you if I try my best :)
I can also teach you java if you want. It is not that hard.

@AbhayBhat Great, I will invite you to a repl if you want

DynamicSquid (1968)

@ipastrano no, not BrainF, not ever again...

ipastrano (238)

@DynamicSquid Lol, BrainF is the WORST...

HMM I think Java is easier and has more options... I personally have learned C++ but from my PERSONAL EXPERIENCE (don't take this personally) I'm more inclined to make programs and games with Java... :D

Hmmmmm probably C++ Is hard, but java is hard too.
lets do APL or JS
if you want to learn JS or APL then i am happy to teach you :)
