Code doesn't run
posted to Ask by harisbaig1

@harisbaig1 Change all your code like this:-

inpt = int(input("Enter a number that needed to be converted: "))
print("inpt inpt//2 inpt%2")
binary=" "

while(inpt>0):
  print(str(inpt)+" " + str(int(inpt/2)) + " " + str(inpt%2))
  binary = str(inpt%2)+binary
  if inpt/2 == 0:
    break
  inpt = int(inpt/2)

print("Therefore," + str(inpt)+" = 0b" + binary)
Code doesn't run
posted to Ask by harisbaig1

@harisbaig1 Hi,
Nah,
It's just fine...

In your code, on line 14 you have this thing:-

number = int(input(""))

Which is taking input with an empty question.

Guess what, that's what you are confusing with that.
That's it

Thanks!

What would be the esiest language to learn to make a wbsite.
posted to Ask by StudentJasonJa2

@StudentJasonJa2 Hi,
Probably there is nothing called easy in coding.
You have to work hard in every case to make it easy yourself...
Keeping that in mind, let's get a little bit further.

Yes you are correct, It is a little bit difficult to build websites with Python
However, For making a professional website, you need to learn 3 programming languages as follows:-

  • HTML
    HTML makes up the layout and structure for your website
  • CSS
    CSS is the styling tool developers from which they can use to style a website
  • JavaScript
    JavaScript is the language that allows you to make interactive behavior to websites

As I said, There is nothing called easy in the field of Coding.

That's it
Thanks!

Any ideas why the canvas to draw on never shows up?
posted to Ask by fighten59er

@fighten59er Hi,
If you want to make turtle run in your normal Python Repl.

Then, it's a little bit glitchy!

You can create a new Repl containing Turtle too.
Follow these steps:-
1. Go to your Repls
2. Click that + icon as usual
3. Type Turtle there.
4. And Select the first one that appears

  1. Label it
  2. And click Create Repl! as usual.

That's it
Thanks!

How to make a save function?
posted to Ask by LTI2

@LTI2 Hi,
What do you mean by function, Is it def example():?

Or it is the score or something?
If you want to store the score of the player, then you can something Database. There are lot of them but I suggest some of them like Repl DB, Mongo DB, etc.

Here are some tutorials on how to use Repl DB:-

Here are some tutorials on how to use Mongo DB:-

A question
posted to Ask by RakshitPandey

@RakshitPandey Hi,
You can use If statements like this.
But for that you have to change your code like this:-
Here is the example code with explanation:-

print("Hi, what would you like to buy from us?")
ask = input(" Some of out popular games are GTA5, red redemption, minecraft etc.: ")
if ask == 'GTA5':
  # Do something.
  print('Ok!')
elif ask == 'red redemption':
  # Do something
  print('Ok!')
elif ask == 'minecraft':
  # Do Something
  print('Ok!')
else:
  print('An error occured')

print("You may time whatever you want")
type= input
print("Wow nice choice. It costs $30.")
print("would you like to use paytm for payment?")
type= input
print("Please enter your paytm number")
type= input()
print("We sent an otp on your mobile number.PLease enter it")
type= input()
print("Payment succesful. Enjoy your game")

This is just an example.

you can change however you want.

If you want a tutorial on how to use it, then Click here

Code doesn't run
posted to Ask by harisbaig1

@harisbaig1 Well...
You can think of things.
That usually depends on what you want to make in your program.

Code doesn't run
posted to Ask by harisbaig1

@harisbaig1 You can make the correct input by asking a question like:-
This is just an example:-

number = int(input("Input a number: "))

Now, it will show Input a number: as an output instead of just empty.

Or else if you don't find it of any use you can remove it.

posted to Ask by RYANTADIPARTHI

@RYANTADIPARTHI Hi,
Try one of these methods:-
If you are using School WiFi then disconnect that and try with your local WiFi
Because I think that your school has set some restrictions over the WiFi

If that is the only way then try to contact one of the staff at your school to know more about what is happening.

Second thing is that try by Forking your Repl

I am pretty sure it may also don't work

Third thing is that Try by using different browser.
Because it can be a thing that your current browser is blocking something on your security issues.

That's it I can suggest you try
Thanks!

Hope this helps
